Position : Practice Manager
Samantha joined Lawray as Practice Manager in May 2007 bringing with her over nine years experience in varying supervisory and management roles within the retail, banking and construction/design sectors.
As Practice Manager, she supports the Managing Directors and the Board in the management of the Practice and its staff.
The role encompasses the following responsibilities: -
- Human Resources
- Health and Safety
- Training and Development
- Quality Assurance and Environmental Management
- Operations and Administration
- Facilities Management
- Marketing and Web
as well as the development, implementation and maintenance of all Company policies and procedures.
Samantha is full member of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) and in 2009 completed the CMI Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership. In 2010 she is studying for the Level 7 CMI Executive Diploma in Strategic Management, following which she will undertake training for the NEBOSH General Certificate, having already attained the IOSH accredited Managing Safely Certificate.
Samantha is a current CSCS cardholder and holds a St John Emergency Aid for Appointed Persons certificate.
Personal interests include: reading, swimming, the gym, the theatre, cinema and overseas travel.
