Lawray were appointed Design Architects and Contract Administrators for this development of 5no. high specification units on Parc Hendre Industrial Estate in Carmarthenshire. The project was jointly sponsored by Carmarthenshire County Council and the Welsh Assembly Government to provide premises for employment within the County.
The development comprises one terrace of 3no. 5000 square foot units and a second detached pair of 2500 square foot units. The units include Production/Warehouse space together with ancillary Office and Sanitary accommodation. Flexibility in accommodation is achieved by the inclusion of knock out panels between the units.
Sustainability was addressed at all stages of the project including the use of locally sourced materials and recycled aggregates and a BREEAM rating of Very Good was achieved.
