Continuous Professional Development – Lawrays success continues!
CIAT
Rhys at Cardiff and Chris at Wrexham are now Associate Members of CIAT (designation ACIAT) following successful completion of their HNC and degree studies.
Scott in Cardiff will also be progressing to this stage upon confirmation of his HND results in the very near future. Thereafter Scott will be undertaking a degree in Architectural Technology.
Andy and David in Wrexham, and Chris at Cardiff are currently progressing towards their full member level (MCIAT) this summer and all hope to have achieved this by the end of the year latest.
RIBA
Richard at Cardiff is applying for RIBA Chartered membership, and Keith O’Hanlon (already MCIAT) is now a RIBA Affiliate member.
Robin in London, and Rhodri at Cardiff (currently Student Members of RIBA) are in the process of upgrading to RIBA Associate status.
CMI
Samantha in Cardiff has recently achieved Member status of the Chartered Management Institute (MCMI) having successfully completed the CMI Level 5 Diploma. From Sept 09 Samantha will be studying for CMI Level 7 in Strategic Management.
IOD
Arnot Hughes, Managing Director, is now a member of the Institute of Directors (MIoD)
CHAS
Lawray Ld. is currently being assessed for accreditation under the Constructors Health & Safety Scheme (CHAS) in the Designer and CDM category. The scheme assesses the Health and Safety policies, processes and procedures to ensure compliance with the relevant H&S law and that they meet the standards required (by CHAS Buyers e.g. Public Sector, Local Authority, Health Trusts, Government Departments, large Private Co.s)
