Arnot joined Lawray in 1993, having previously been a Partner with Percy Thomas Partnership, becoming a Director in 1995. In his current business development role he is responsible for marketing, new and existing client relationship management, being able to apply his extensive experience gained in architectural practice, client liaison and project management over the past 30 years.
His particular skill is in the management and solution of project issues by co-ordination and involvement of all design team members. Arnot is fluent in spoken and written Welsh, and conversational French.
Arnot applies his natural practical outlook to all projects, trying to understand each point of view and target for each design or construction situation.He believes that buildings should be above all functional, responding to specific aims, while giving a clear statement of their intended use. They should also be well mannered within their immediate environment without necessarily mimicking the adjacent style.

• Space evaluation and Master Planning for Aberystwyth University
