Queen Elizabeth School, Carmarthenshire opens

Lawray comprehensively reviewed and provided designs for the new amalgamated school in line with ‘Building Schools for the future ‘ criteria to create a £28m building for 1600 pupils including a new sixth form, sports facilities, leisure centre and Special Education Needs resource centre. The school building incorporates sophisticated IT and renewable energy systems and has achieved a BREEAM rating of ‘Very Good’. The project was delivered on budget, on time, safely and to an excellent quality.
