In 2006 Lawray were appointed as Architects and Contract Administrators to develop initial Planning drawings for the construction of a new Fitness Suite attached to the existing Leisure Centre. In addition the existing wet side changing rooms were extensively refurbished and the Reception Area was remodelled.
Working in consultation with Client team Lawray refined the design to reflect the particular site constraints. The Leisure Centre also provides facilities for the neighbouring High School who required access throughout. The project was completed largely whilst the centre remained open to the school.
