Lawray have carried out several projects for UWIC including three major works: -
Facade
The University requested improvements to the façade of their existing building to enhance their image and move away from the old “Technical College”, to a contemporary design to it with the new ethos and which was more likely to attract today’s students in what is today’s very competitive market place.
Dental Laboratories and Student facilities.
New laboratories and lecture facilities for the School of Dental Technicians.
Student Amenities Centre
The client brief was to create a building at Llandaff campus which broke away from the old “Technical Collage” image. One more in line with the expectations of today’s students and capable of attracting additional users and visitors. The facility includes a bar, café, fitness suite, and administrative offices.
