Whilst our designs must be practical and functional they should also be pleasing to the eye and a pleasure to use, possessing good ergonomic, aesthetic and tactile qualities. We want our clients to enjoy and utilise the spaces and structures we create, to the full, for years to come.
As well as developing new building designs, Lawray are specialists in the creative adaptation of existing buildings.
Our approach to each individual project is very client-focused, and all decisions are driven by the need to fully understand and meet the client’s aspirations and specific requirements. Any existing site conditions and features, including buildings, are assessed and rated against those needs, and our expertise in the re-use of buildings leads to a systematic assessment of their value.
Whether the right decision is to incorporate the existing building, or to design a new structure, our experience and knowledge of the character and construction of the original leads to successful project delivery and completion for all parties.
