At Lawray Architects we want everyone to fulfil their potential. All staff are encouraged to follow a Continuous Professional Development programme and are supported in maintaining the appropriate professional memberships (RIBA, CIAT etc.) and moving up through the membership grades to full Member, Fellow or Chartered status.
Training is carried out both in-house and externally and development needs are tailored to the employees’ and Practice requirements through regular staff reviews followed by the implementation and monitoring of Action or Personal Development Plans.
Training may include anything from regular basic Health & Safety or CDM updates, general work and life skills, such as presentation skills, Welsh language, first aid and marketing, to professional qualifications including HNC, HND, degrees and specialised areas like BREEAM assessor or CDM Co-ordinator.
The ongoing training and development of our team builds knowledge, skills, enjoyment and confidence. It is an integral part of our Continuous Improvement plan and ensures we continue to meet and exceed our quality objectives.
