Lawray were Design Team Lead Consultant and Design Architects to Railtrack/Rhuddlan Borough Council for the multi-million pounds Gateway Project in Rhyl which included the refurbishment of the Station Square and Historic Railway Station Buildings, Platform, Canopies and Bridges.
The completed project created modern Station Facilities, Offices and several desirable Commercial/Retail Units from redundant building stock and land.
Additionally the Square to the front of the station was also subject to revamping with vehicular movements carefully considered with the creation of new car parking, passenger drop off points, bus station and taxi rank.
