Position: Architectural Technologist
Rhys returned to Lawray Architects in June 2009 as a graduate following a placement year at the Cardiff Office in 2007-08 as an Architectural Assistant. A hard working and enthusiastic individual, Rhys works with other members of the design team to produce design and production information. He aims to gain valuable experience while working at the Cardiff office to broaden his knowledge of architectural design and technology.
While at Lawray Rhys has worked on numerous projects which include work for Redrow Homes and various projects through a partnering agreement with Carmarthenshire County Council.
Rhys has experience of using many 2D and 3D CAD programmes including Microstation, AutoCAD and Sketch-Up as well as programmes such as Photoshop.
Currently a student member of the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists with intentions to progress to an associate member following full graduation from university.

• Takao Reception, Takenaka Europe
• County Council Offices at St David’s Park, Carmarthenshire County Council
• The Mount, Carmarthenshire County Council
• Reprographics Department, Glamorgan University
• Pantycelyn Redevelopment, Aberystwyth University
Rhys is a fluent Welsh speaker.
Outside of work, Rhys enjoys cycling, rock climbing, playing the drums, listening to music and travelling.
